Description
David is a lifelong Nebraskan who was born in Omaha. David is married to Beth and they have two sons, Joshua, age 4, and Benjamin, age 2. David is a partner with the Baird Holm Law Firm in Omaha. David represents public and private sector clients with a special emphasis on government and community relations, management-side labor and employment law, and education law. David has been with Baird Holm from 1990-1996 and 1999-present.
In 1997 and 1998, David worked in Luanda, Angola, as the Resident Program Director for the International Republican Institute (IRI). It was during this time that David met Beth, who was working for IRI in Washington. Beth had worked at the U.S. State Department during the first Bush administration (Bush 41). During his tenure in Angola, David designed and implemented educational programs to strengthen the Angolan National Parliament and its political parties. David has also worked with IRI in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Nigeria and Ukraine.
David is a 1990 graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Print Journalism with a minor in Philosophy from Loyola University, New Orleans.
