KPI Plastic (M) Sdn Bhd was initially known as Kris Plastic Industries. It started its business in 1969 by its founder Mr Yan Thit Khiew which is also its managing director now. Kris Plastic Industries started with only 3 injection machines. Right now KPI Plastic (M) Sdn Bhd has over 10 injection machines ranging from 50 tons to 160 tons of injection clamping pressure. It also have over 12 blowing machines to produce quality bottles which includes sizes from 8ml eye drop bottles to pharmaceutical container to high end cosmetics bottles.
KPI also have a printing department to cater for customers who needs to have their bottles printed. The printing process is called silkscreen printing. Currently we have 2 automatic machines, 3 semi-auto machines, a pad print machine and 3 hot stamping machines to produce lining on the cap skirts. We will be bringing in a new OMSO Novex M automatic silkscreen machine to produce UV silkscreen printing.
Currently the office and factory are located in Taman Tanming Jaya, Balakong in the state of Selangor. It has over 12 units of factory lots which is equivalent to 66,000 sq ft of land. There are over 60 general workers working in 3 shifts and 6 office staffs.
