- I’m a 20-something stay at home mom of a cherubial (almost) 3 year old little boy and our new little bub. I live in Canada, and lead a “cityfied” life with my husband. Or so my family says. I am currently exploring the world of domesticity, you know laundry, toilettes, play groups, casseroles and cupcakes. Much to my surprise, I’m enjoying myself, although I’m just barely proficient at most of it. Originally a student of fine arts, I found myself hanging up the brushes for a tape measure and fabric swatches in the home decor industry. Now currently knee deep in diapers (potty training?) and sippy cups, I am testing out my creative juices through knitting, and most recently sewing and blogging. I am easily distracted and often obsessed by collecting the latest and greatest whatever. Now that I have fine tuned my stroller, diaper bag and baby carrier stashes (always open for a tweek now and then mind you.) I have returned to blog land exclaiming gleefully that I have mastered the art of knitting while nursing, (can I get a woo hoo?) My idea of a fab night would include vast quantities of good wine, good chocolate, home decorating shows, hours of uninterupted sleep and of course knitting. Welcome to my world, won’t you come on in?
