COMAT takes pride that we had, over the last twenty (20) years, established ourselves as the leading IT Training Provider to corporations (public and private sectors) and partners. Our survival and success since 1984 was due in part to our ability to adapt to changing market conditions and constantly seeking ways to renew ourselves.
In April 2002, mainboard listed Horizon Education & Technologies (HET) Ltd, now know as Global Voice Group Limited acquired COMAT. In September that same year, we became a fully owned subsidiary of Knowledge Alive Pte Ltd (KAPL), a joint venture between Singapore Technologies Training and Simulations (STTS) and Horizon Education & Technologies Ltd. This was the beginning of a new chapter for COMAT and a significant turning point as it allowed us to make a quantum leap to the next stage in our quest for excellence. Backed by HET and STTS' expertise and resources, COMAT now offers the best of both worlds - classroom and online learning. COMAT is intensely focused in our core competency - skills-based learning in IT. This venture has further strengthened COMAT's position as the leading training solutions provider.
COMAT's belief is empowerment through education and training. We understand that we are in a people business and customer satisfaction is paramount. We have and will continue to invest our people, our products and services, our processes to ensure we provide high quality training at a competitive rate. We maintain one of the largest core pools of full-time employed trainers to ensure consistent quality delivery and knowledge transference to our trainees. Going ahead, COMAT is setting aside at least 3% of our annual turnover in R&D; to review, modify and enhance our existing training curriculum; and develop new training curriculum to stay relevant to our clients' needs.
