- It has been over ten years since I moved back to the Northwest from NYC and the luxury of working full time in an art studio. Over the years, it appeared that through the day jobs working for various non-profits, nighttime teaching gigs, and just plain living, I had somehow numbed my art self. I actually view those things as having had a vacuum affect on my creativity…. sucked it right out of me.
