I was looking for a unique blog name. (You know, just like everyone else.) I had originally planned to do "Three chicks in a kitchen." (Get it? If not, I'm not going to spell it out.) But one of the other women I had in mind as a co-author just had a baby, so she's rather preoccupied at the moment. That left me one chick short, so I decided to go it alone.
The "chick" is a taroroot dimsum. I took this picture at Lai Wah Heen restaurant in Toronto and then photoshopped it to remove the plate and background. Lai Wah Heen has amazing avant-guarde dimsum.
