Description
Claire Paterson has served as Athletics Director at The King's University College since 2002 and as Head Coach of the Eagles Women's Soccer team since 1999.
She earned a Bachelor of Physical Education and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta. Currently, she is working towards her Masters degree in Coaching at the University of Alberta. Claire has her National "B" license as a soccer coach from the Canadian Soccer Association along with her Scottish Football Association Club Certification. In 2002 she was nominated to and attended the CSA/FIFI U-19 Women's World Cup Coaching Symposium and in 2004 attended the Canadian Soccer Associations Female Coaching Initiative that ran parallel with the U-19 CONCAF Qualifying tournament.
From 2000-2006, Claire has been an Alberta Provincial Soccer Team Coach where she represented Alberta at the Rocky Mountain Cup, National All-Stars, Western Canada Summer Games and Canada Summer Games. For the past two years she has also been involved in the National Training Centre – Prairies working with athletes and attending the National Scouting Weekends.
