We acknowledge and honor each child's gifts, talents and cultures and strive to nurture, support and enhance their natural and emerging cognitive, physical, creative and social emotional development. Our staff interact with each other, the children and families while demonstrating respect, individuality, support and responsiveness. We have chosen to work in the field of early education and as a result our priorities include providing a safe, healthy and stimulating environment with low child to staff ratios. We utilize the creative curriculum as it supports the center being set up according to learning areas that encourages children to be actively involved in the learning process and provide a variety of developmentally appropriate activities and real opportunities for learning through choices and child initiated experiences that empower children to grow, change and find solutions for living safe, competent and self sufficient lives. We believe that for young children the knowledge must first be learned with my hands, before it can be recognized in my head.
