Description
The Children's Museum of Kansas City develops imaginative and analytical thinking in children through art, cultural, and educational exhibits and programs
The Museum strives to aide in the development of the whole child (emotional, physical, mental). To accomplish this, exhibits are designed to enhance early childhood development and appeal to many learning styles and intelligence modes.
The Children's Museum of Kansas City incorporated in 1989 in the Carriage House of the Kansas State School for the Visually Handicapped at 11th and State Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas. In 1990, it moved to the lower level of Indian Springs Market Center where its exhibits and programs have grown to occupy over 12,000 square feet of space.
