Description
Kidsongs is an award winning series of videos created for children, ages 1 to 8. The videos are professionally produced, live action productions that star a cast of talented kids performing favorite kids songs selected to entertain and motivate young viewers. Kidsongs gets kids up and moving to a wide range of songs -- from Old MacDonald Had a Farm to Rock Around the Clock. Each half hour Music Video Story has 10 to 15 songs joined together by a story line and theme -- like Cars, Boats, Trains and Planes or Very Silly Songs.
There are 24 half hour episodes available on DVD and VHS. We have produced them on every subject of interest to kids –- like animals, birthdays, the zoo, the amusement park, camp, adventure, fantasy, and things that go.
We also have 10 episodes of the very popular Kidsongs TV Show, that aired for many years on PBS. The The Kidsongs TV Show follows the exploits of twelve energetic kids (ages 4 through 12), as they produce their own music based, kid’s television show. The kid cast members are the fictional hosts, writers, producers, performers, and cast and crew of the Kidsongs TV Show. Their motto is, “Made by kids, for kids and starring kids.”
The show features seven or eight award-winning Kidsongs music videos; an engaging informational segment and a sing-along segment. Informative and fun guests ranging including firemen, musicians and exotic animals round out the line-up in a segment called “Question Time.”
The Kidsongs TV Show's story lines address age-appropriate issues, such as sharing, jealousy, friendship, teamwork, telling the truth and patience.
The shows have won numerous awards including the prestigious Award for Excellence in Children’s Programming by ACT, and have been met with critical acclaim.
We also offer the Kidsongs Music Series that is available on on both CD and Songbook/CD combos. Each audio collection contains at least 15 songs and is wonderful for keeping children entertained in the car. The recordings are of the highest quality -- the producers are Grammy Award and American Music Award winners!
The site offers free downloads of lyrics to hundreds of children's songs, and coloring and activity sheets.
