I was born in Toronto, Canada. My father is from Ireland, and when I was 3, he decided to move the family back to Ireland where I was raised. I lived there until I was 19 when I returned to Toronto on my own. I spent some time in Vancouver, Canada and then went back to Toronto where I met and married my husband. We have been married for seven years and during that time we have lived in Toronto, Singapore, and now Cincinnati, Ohio for the last 4 and a half years.
I started making these ribbon notepads with heavier paper for myself – I always thought that regular notepad paper was too thin. I was encouraged to share them and finally after 2 years I decided to give this business a try.
Everything you see on this website is made by hand – the perforated pages, cardboard backings, gift bags and envelopes. I also make the notepads in regular weight paper as well as the heavier paper - some people feel that the heavier paper is too good to use. Imagine that!
