Keystone Horticulturists, LLC has been serving mid-coast and southern Maine since 1998. We are in this business because we thoroughly enjoy working with people and plants. Please take a minute to learn who we are.
Tom Sukley has a B.S. in Horticulture from Penn State. After a one year stint in a research capacity with the Department of Agriculture, he realized that people were much more interesting to talk to than microscopic organisms. Over the next 4 years he learned various aspects of the business working as an arborist and sales consultant for the F. A. Bartlett Tree Expert Co. and continued this career path with the Lucas Tree Expert Co.. He started Keystone Horticulturists in Kennebunk, Maine. His particular expertise and interests are athletic field and turf care, and all facets of arboriculture.
Jim Allen grew up in the southern Maine are and graduated from the University of Maine’s Landscape Horticulture Program with a Design concentration as well as a Computer Technology degree from SMCC. He has worked in central, coastal and southern Maine. His specialties are plants, design, and has experience in lawn, tree and shrub care as well as experience in taking care of large estates.
