Title
Kenya School Project
Description
Excerpted from the website description:
- The Kenya School Project was established to educate and empower Kenya's poorest children, those who live on less than a dollar a day in extreme poverty. We provide the boost they need to swing a leg up onto that first rung of the economic ladder. The Kenya School Project started in 2004 because a Wisconsin woman, Mary Stusek, believed with all her heart that to ignore Africa's poverty is genocide from a distance. In an attempt to end poverty the UN Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) were established. One of those eight goals is to provide free primary education to all the world's children by 2015.
