Kennels Von Duffin - Breeders of German Wirehaired Pointers
Description
Terry and Ann purchased their first German Wirehaired Pointer in 1981. We acquired her as a personal pet and hunting dog. Little did we know that one dog would totally change our lives. We bred her and after one litter, Terry was asked to help train one pup, then another, etc. We lived in town and one summer we counted up seven dogs in for training on a city lot. We had had older, fairly hard of hearing neighbors, but decided maybe we had better look for some acreage before we wore out our welcome. Better yet, maybe we should look into starting a boarding kennel since there was not one we felt comfortable leaving our own dogs. That process was not as simple as we imagined, but we pursued. So here we are now, with our numerous GWPs and a boarding kennel. Who would have guessed????
Welcome to our visitors. We are so proud to be able to share our favorite subject in the whole wide world -- our dogs. We pride ourselves in our dogs hunting capabilities and temperments. We attempt to research a breeding as much as we can before we do it. Our job is to improve everytime we breed.
