About this site

This site was born around the beginning of 2001. I always thought there should be a comprehensive site about the current and future development going on in the Kansas City area, so around Jan. 2001 with the help and data of a fellow Kansas Citian that goes by the name of Kc Bill, I started throwing up webpages and info that I knew about the KC area.

This site was born strictly from my pride of the KC metro area. It is not meant to be an official representation of anything in KC, but more like a 'fans page' to a sports athlete. I am a 'fan' of the KC area, so I decided to get the word out and make a website about what was happening in this 'cowtown'. Hoping to break down stereotype and install some civic pride into residents of the area is a small part of this website, but is was more born out of my own interest and desire to organize developments, buildings, etc for my own use. If others find it helpful, that's an additional bonus.
