Description
As a brand new member of the Board of Directors, I’ve had a lot to learn in a very short time. I’m not sure what I expected, but I was pleasantly surprised to discover that we, as members of our organization, have a very hard working BOD with a vision to promote, grow, and position the KCBS as the authority in barbecue. Several projects that the Board has been hard at work on are very exciting. I had no idea that so many exciting things were being discussed, planned, and in the process of being implemented. The proposal was made to share all this exciting activity with the general membership. We, as a Board, want to communicate several things that we are currently working on and plans we have for the future, both immediate and long term.
