Back in 1990 I moved from Sun Valley, Idaho, where I had been living with a husband and a daughter, back to California (where I had lived most of my adult life). My daughter was in college and I had recently divorced the husband so I was single again for the first time in 18 years. I chose Sonoma County and in the next 10 years found myself delightfully mixed up with an interesting group of friends who were involved in shamanism and celebration of the re-emergence of the Goddess in our time.
For my part of this path of discovery I decided to dedicate my artistic talents to the sacralization of the feminine. I vowed to depict the Goddess in all her various aspects--both dark and light, wild and tame. This website, with its Goddess rubber stamps and cards, was born from the enthusiasm of that time.
Today, as I write this my focus is on mixed-media painting (see Painting page) but I continue to maintain my Goddess stamp business.
