K&DCFS holds a Community Forest Agreement K3C in the Kootenay Lake Forest District. Our CFA entitles our Society to manage forest resources on an area of 35,000 hectares surrounding the community of Kaslo. We are honoured and privileged to have this responsibility to manage crown resources over such a vast landbase encompassing wildlands, community watersheds, domestic watersheds, recreational trails and forests. Our Society is run by a board of 7 elected and 2 appointed directors.
