- Like the work of many visual artists, mine has been informed by external visual sources such as the natural world, color and line, texture and form, and quality of light. However, my real motivation for continued creative questing comes from within. Having worked in many different media over the years, from ceramics and hot glass, to oils, pastel, water-media and collage/assemblage, I have built a visual and abstract language of personal symbology in my work that reflects my search for the spiritual.
