From her earliest age, Karen Kasper possessed both a natural artistic ability and a deep love of horses. She began drawing horses before she could read, learned to paint them by grade school, and embarked on a diligent self-study of equine art that continues today. After their marriage, Karen and her husband Ray began a farm in central Wisconsin and acquired their first of several horses. They had three children to complete their family, sons Jeremy and Jason, and daughter Julie.
