April 28, 2003 marks the day that Kahayag Cafe turns one year old. What started as a small, cozy diner is now considered to be one of the more exciting and interesting places in Cebu City. Having been featured at one time or another in Cebu's dailies, tourist books and magazines since its opening, Kahayag has indeed come a long way in such a short, sweet time.
The cafe's success is angled on 3 key elements: the Kahayag staff who release their positive energy through the food and service; the musicians and artists who generously share their talent and transmit creative synergies of lyrics and melody; and the customers whose receptiveness to all that represents life - food, music, art - bring unto Kahayag a vital and potent form of energetic vibration.
