The Havanese is truly an enchanting breed. They are a toy breed with immense charm and personality. They have a happy, affectionate, outgoing disposition. When raised together, the Havanese are great with children and other pets, and are devoted to their family. The most whimsical of all are the adorable Havanese puppies! I purchased my first Havanese after reading an article in Dog World Magazine in 1991. This was years before the Havanese became an AKC recognized toy breed.
