We make ALL NATURAL emu oil based skin care products as well as other essential oil based topical ointments, balms and lotions for your health and beauty. Our name, Kaylala, comes from one of the many aboriginal terms for emu. In Australia, emu oil (aka dromaius oil) is used medicinally for its anti-inflamatory, trans-dermal and healing properties; nourishing the skin with Omega 3, 6 & 9 fatty acids. The trans-dermal property of emu oil also allows for other essential oils and vitamins to absorb into the skin faster and deeper.
The Aborigines knew this, and they use emu oil to this day in many of their homeopathic remedies. This is the backbone to our philosophy in using all natural, tried-and-true ingredients in all of our products. Our emu oil is certified fully refined by the American Emu Association.
We also package all of our emu oil and skin care products in GLASS, ALUMINUM, or TIN. Research has shown that pthalates in plastic containers can leach into cosmetics, lotions, shampoos, etc-- damaging your skin. We feel strongly about limiting the use of plastics in relation to substances that go on your skin, especially with a trans-dermal oil like emu oil!
