The light stuff - age: 46, married, one child 20 years old (well almost) and a web developer / programmer / designer by trade. Egghead? NO - as a matter fact I have spent most of my 46 years making a living the 'hard way' IE: truck driver, mechanic etc etc etc. It was only within the last 5 years that I got 'back into' computers because a. I enjoy it & b. I was sick and tired of breaking my back to pay the bills. Honestly I love it. To make a computer stand up straight and pay attention and act right is really a great thing. Sometimes many people, myself included, tend to get overwhelmed by technology and rightly so. To be able to
and tame it can really be a trip. So at the age of 40 I decided to stop my family's and my life to go back to school & pursue a career in computers. Dangerous, yes but struggling week to week in businesses that I hated was really starting to get old so my wife & I took the gamble, mortgaged ourselves up to our eyeballs to survive the year of school (not to mention the student loans) and plunged in head first.
