Don't take your car here! Stay far away. Warranty work? Don't bother! They won't help.

I took my '09 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo here for service. After an oil change and standard tire rotation I noticed my front brake on the passenger side was squeaking. I took it back to the dealership and was informed it was rust on the brake pads and nothing of concern. The noise continued and I continued to bring it back. 6 times to be exact. The noise is still persistent. The dealer claims they can not hear the noise; which is impossible because I sound worse than a squeaky cab in downtown Boston, and my brakes pass inspection. I tried making another appointment for service and was blatantly declined by the service manager Kim. She told me she would not take my vehicle in on Saturday (even though they had available appointments) and I would have to schedule M-F (which I can not do because I work downtown and have already taken several days off from work to deal with this).

After complaining to the service manager with no avail I escalated my complaints to the General Manager Ed Alberts. He called me to inform me he was familiar with my vehicle and its problems. He said that if I have a problem with the way his dealer is servicing my vehicle then I should take it elsewhere. He also pointed out that I am not a customer of his dealership; as I didn't buy it from him, and perhaps I should return to the dealer I purchased it from. He also told me to stop talking and listen so I could hear what he was trying to tell me.

If you are looking for a lousy dealer with no skill set for customer service than this is it. If you want to be told your vehicle isn't welcome at dealer then go visit them! Ask for the service manager Kim and the General Manager Ed Alberts.

I took my vehicle to another dealership this week. Surprise, surprise. My rotors and brake pads were severely damaged. They will be replaced under warranty. How come this dealer couldn't find this problem?
