Jurlique was founded in 1983 by Dr. Jurgen Klein, a scientist and naturopath , and his wife Ulrike, a horticulturalist, whose interest in herbal extracts and natural therapies stemmed from their experience with traditional herbal remedies. They combined their professions and experience to create the Jurlique skincare range.
Their vision was to provide a holistic skin care system, designed to improve the appearance, vitality and radiance of our skin.
This led them to establish a natural, plant-based skin care alternative using a unique and innovative combination of age-old therapies (herbalism, aromatherapy, alchemy and homeopathy).
