Founded by John Sturdivant Jr. , Junction Entertainment Services Inc. is a music business company that upholds a family tradition. Under the design of grandparents, Kitty Wells and Johnnie Wright, legendary producer Owen Bradley and engineer Glenn Snoddy, the Junction Recording Studio was opened in 1987. Since then, a variety of artists have used Junction Studio, including, Marty Stuart, William Lee Golden, Suzy Ragsdale, Andy Griggs and Blake Chancey, along with other record labels, producers, and publishers.
With this foundation, John Sturdivant Jr., launched Junction Records, an independent label. Under this new label a never before released Kitty Wells album entitled, "Forever Young" was re-mastered and released along with the release of Randy Kohrs, "A Crack in My Armor."
John Sturdivant Jr., known by most as "Junior", has a life time of experience in the music business. It began at the age of five when he was a clown on his grandparent¹s television show, "the Kitty Wells and Johnnie Wright Family Show". He learned to play a variety of instruments as he traveled with their world renown road show, and earned the honor of becoming a "Tennessee Mountain Boy". Junior is also recognized as a studio musician, producer, recording engineer and songwriter. Since High School, he has performed with artists and groups ranging from Roy Acuff, The Girls Next Door, Marty Stuart, Bear Jr., Chris, Rusty, and William Lee Golden, and Uncle Slim.
