I used to feel invisible. I thought it was just that I was getting older. I could walk around the campus at work completely unnoticed. I certainly didn't feel sexy. People dress up on Halloween in my town and gather on the main street. I usually hid inside a witch costume. Halloween 2003 was the turning point for me. It wasn't fun to hide anymore. I was hidden enough in my life. That year I went to a costume rental shop and listened when a shimmering long beaded dress spoke to me.
