- Journey With Christ is the youth version of The Walk With Christ which originated in Spain in the late 1940's as “Cursillo for Leaders of Pilgrims.” Cursillo is a week-long course to prepare those going on a pilgrimage to the Shrine of St. James. In 1944 a small group led a three-day Cursillo with the idea of building up leaders in the church. This movement spread to South America and Mexico in the 1950s and to North America in the 60s.
