Joshua Bryce Keahey was born January 28, 2003, in Athens, Texas, the son of James Bryce Keahey and Laura Lynn Peek Keahey. He lived most of his life in Wills Point. From the time of his birth, he suffered from a rare heart defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. On November 17, 2005, Joshua received a heart transplant from a little 5-year old girl named Kelly Corbly. He endured many months in the hospital during his short life.
