- I was born in Seattle, and raised in Everett (about 20 miles north of Seattle). I went to St. Mary Magdalene Catholic School (barf!) until high-school, where I went to Cascade Senior High. In high school, I played a little football, ran cross-country, and ran hurdles. I also spent two years in carpentry, learning all there is to know about building houses, and a lot about working hard. I enjoyed living in the area enough that I bought a house in the same neighborhood, two blocks from my parents. (Yes, we get along well.) I went to Washington State University on a scholarship, but left after two years. Didn't know what I wanted, didn't try very hard, and didn't really care to stay in school.
