John Bokma is a Perl programmer born in the Netherlands, but currently living in Mexico. He loves to go out for long hikes in the countryside and take pictures of animals, plants, landscapes and everything else that interest him. His site is for a large part a blog having many entries describing those walks and illustrating it with photos of wonderful animals (mostly scorpions and tarantulas) and landscapes. The other part of his site consists mostly of well-written tutorials directed at beginners on topics like RSS web feeds and Live Bookmarks and Installing and configuring Apache on Windows XP.
John can be hired as a professional Perl programmer and/or SEO expert.

I am also the proud father of two lovely children, Jim and Laurinda Bokma. Due to sad circumstances I am no longer with them, because they live with their mother in New Zealand.

Besides writing (relatively) short entries in my blog MexIT I now and then attempt to write longer articles like step-by-step tutorials on how to use specific applications.
