Description
Due to the fact everything is handmade, no two pieces will ever be identical, which adds to the appeal of my work.
Inspiration comes mainly from natural form, my enquiring mind constantly observing and looking for potential designs in everything round about me.
Major influences have also been architecture from the Indian sub - continent, Maori and Polynesian craft work. Exploration of different surface finishes and textures interests me and my love of colour is reflected strongly through much of my work in my use of gemstones, gemstone beads, freshwater pearls and different coloured metals, often combined in unusual ways.
