Contract and Interim candidates are placed with clients via a Personal Services Company. This company will be liable for paying the salary and national insurance contributions of the individual supplying the services. It also bears responsibility for the necessary insurances, such as Professional Indemnity, Public Liability and Employers Liability.
Whether to establish your own company or use the services of an umbrella company is a decision that only the individual can make. Deciding factors can include annual income, duration of contract, career and/or lifestyle choice.
JM is happy to work with either an umbrella company or a personal Limited company. Please let us know your choice, or ask for advice if you need to know where to obtain either of these.
