Description
Who am I? Well, my name is Jamie and I have an over-engineered über-hyped-up non-profit enterprise called JMeNet. Goodness knows why. I was born in February 1987 in Derbyshire (north England) and I’m currently at the University of Bath (also in England) studying a Masters in Electronic Engineering with Applied Space Science and Technology.
My hobbies are plentiful: I play the drums, I'm into motocross, I use the internet and play PC games probably more than is good for me, I compose music, make short films and give a large amount of my free time to a Canadian-based film project called Pure Pwnage. I also work voluntarily for the RSPCA as their ‘IT officer’ and spend the small amount of remaining time doing technical sound and lighting work in theatres.
In the summer of 2004, I climbed a little hill in Africa called Mount Kilimanjaro and have been lucky enough to travel around many places in Europe . I often fly over to Canada to see family in British Columbia. Canada is a country that I love – I hope to spend a year working out in Canada as part of my degree and, if the situation eventually arose, wouldn’t think twice about moving over there to live permanently.
