The Junior League of San Jose is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and to improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. The Junior League of San Jose reaches out to women of all races, religions, and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to voluntarism.
The Junior League of San Jose is recognized by the community as the volunteer organization of choice for making positive change in the lives of youth and families.
The Junior League of San Jose works to help young children enter elementary school ready to learn and thrive. League resources are dedicated to a multi-faceted Community Program with the following elements:
