To help keep costs down we do not use fancy packaging. We buy in bulk and devide the product ourselves. We use basic plastic bags for our potting mediums and zip lock bags for fertilizers. The pretty plastic bags with the pictures cost more so the end user pays more (that is you). Some items already come in those pretty bags. If we can find a way to keep the cost down for you, then we will do everything possible to do it, including seeking new vendors all the time.
Also, we recycle (reuse) our boxes. If your order arrives to you in what looks like a box that has been shipped previously, that's beacuse it probably was.
