Description
Artist/designer Jim McCullough lives and works in the beautiful hill country of central Texas. Since 1980, Jim has offered a unique approach to his work in jewelry, glassware and ceramics. "I have always drawn my inspiration from the natural world. I love to incorporate forms and textures from the sea, forests, and meadows, imparting in each piece a natural quality and an element of mystery." Although, like any art piece, energy must be used in production, Jim strives to minimize impact on the environment in his processes, creating almost no waste and using no harsh chemicals. All surfaces on Jim's glassware and ceramics are food safe.
Jim and Kathy moved to the hill country outside of Austin, Texas in 1993. Their mutual love of nature, beauty and art inspire Jim's work. Together, they ensure that each piece is lovingly made by hand. "I couldn't do it without Kathy. She is the one that keeps me organized. She helps me decide on the best designs and ensures that every piece that we sell is perfect." Jim and Kathy's love of nature is reflected in every piece of glassware and pottery that Jim sells.
