Computer Solutions is located in Chilhowie, a small town in southwestern Virginia. At Computer Solutions, we are dedicated to making your business and web presence the absolute best it can be. Computer Solutions was founded, and continues to be owned and operated by John W. Harmon, Jr. John was born and raised in Atkins, Virginia, a very small community about ten miles from our current location. John has a Master of Science degree in Human Factors Engineering and a Ph.D. in Computer Science. He has worked many projects in a variety of sizes from an individual's web site to large-scale projects for organizations such as the Department of Energy and Lucent Technologies. John has a strong background in a variety of fields such as nuclear engineering, training and documentation, task analysis, classroom instruction, simulators, telecommunications, controls/displays, web usability, human factors engineering, and information technology.
