Description

The Jewish Bereavement Project, at www.jewishbereavement.com, is a program of the Kalsman Institute on Judaism and Health of the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. Michele Prince, MSW, MAJCS, is the founder of the project. She is currently the acting director of the Kalsman Institute and is an oncology social worker at the USC/Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. These bereavement resources and services were originally prepared by Michele alongside Amy Berkowitz as graduate students in the Irwin Daniels School of Jewish Communal Service of HUC-JIR. An update of the site was made possible through the assistance of Yael Green, Pamela Saltsman and Brian Garfield.
