- Jean Byrd is a local North Shore artist. She loves to paint the beauty of Cape Ann. She specializes in seascapes and local landscapes. Jean has been painting for most of my life, starting as a child with private art classes, and graduating from college with a minor in Art. Jean Byrd has also studied with several local artists from the Rockport Art Association in Rockport, MA. Jean Byrd has exhibited in the following places -The Rockport Art Assoc., The North Shore Arts Assoc., Local Colors Gallery , in Gloucester, MA., The West Hartford Art League, in West Hartford, CT and several business on Cape Ann. I am presently at The Bodin Gallery in Gloucester, MA and a member of the Cape Ann Art Collective.
