Jay Taylor Exterminating Co., Inc. was originally started by J. W. Taylor Sr. in 1941. The original office was in downtown Wilmington, NC. The second generation of family owners included J. W. Taylor Jr. and his sister Dorothy T. Page. In 1986, the company was passed on to J. W. Taylor III. Today, two sons, J. W. Taylor IV and Stephen G. Taylor are the fourth generation of family to control the business.
