Janet believes that there is a strong connection between the feel of the natural fibers between one's hands as one creates a new object, the thoughts of the person for whom it is being created, and one's own heart and soul. Therefore, the purpose of the shop is to provide the best tools with which to create fabulous handwork and foster a connection between people, a bond that has been lost during the computer age, and to help people reconnect with both each other and their own spirits.
You can make yourself comfortable as well. We have rocking chairs available for your use. Whether you want some company or simply want to be around others who like doing hand work as much as you, come into the shop with your project and stay awhile. You're always welcome. No idle or malicious gossip here, just a lovely place to visit, help each other with our projects or plan your next one.
