Description
J&M Sewing Service Ltd is now a well established small business in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, serving the church both in the UK and abroad. The firm was set up by Joyce Davison and Maureen Waterston in 1980, and is now a Limited Company, with Joyce and Maureen joined as Directors by Theresa Tiffin and Stephen Wroe.
Having built our customer base very gradually over the years, there are now 25,000 customers on our books, including well over 600 Choirs.
All the items we manufacture are made to order, and the vast majority of our orders are placed by post, fax or the internet, with only a small proportion of our cistomers actually visiting our showroom in Newcastle upon Tyne. Many of our customers are abroad - as we have now supplied customers in some 22 countries, including the USA where we have customers in over 20 States.
