- With close to a decade working in the field as an adventure tourism guide and naturalist, Jamie has gained an amazing understanding of the natural world. Jamie was born and raised on Vancouver Island, on the beautiful coast of British Columbia. After completing degrees in Biology and Chemistry at the University of Victoria, he began his career in guiding at BC's very own Knight Inlet Lodge, a remote wilderness destination specializing in Grizzly bear viewing. After two seasons viewing the magnificent grizzlies of coastal BC, Jamie finally picked up his first camera, and ever since has been capturing truly unique images of the bountiful bears, other wildlife, and spectacular scenery of the area.
