- The Jade Sabre was started in June of 2000. It was named after Mara Jade Skywalker's ship, which appears in the novel Vector Prime. When I first became a Mara Jade fan, I was frustrated by the lack of a really great fansite for her. As a result, I learned HTML and made a site myself. :)
