Description
Ivy Gables started in 1997 with the purchase of our first Tibetan Terrier, Sarah. Sarah is a sable and white dog and my first show dog, although I had many dogs growing up and had even been a foster parent for an organization in Denver that rescued homeless dogs.
Before she was 10 months old Sarah had been through a puppy class, 2 basic classes, a pre-open class and an agility class. I found her to be very intelligent and a willing participant in all of this once I found out what motivates a Tibetan. I was sold on the breed. The following year I purchased 2 more dogs. One of those was my Annie, who went on to become a multiple best in show dog.
Shortly after that we (the dogs and I) moved to Virginia where we reside now on 3 acres in a rural area that is very dog friendly. I have continued to show my dogs which now include dogs I have bred and a few more purchased to balance out our family.
