This Symposium is devoted to the vibrations of continuous systems (e.g. strings, rods, straight and curved beams, membranes, plates, shells, and three-dimensional bodies). Experts in these areas are being invited from all over the world. The primary objective of the Symposium is to present ideas, new ones and old ones, and to receive comments on them from other participants. To accomplish this, the Symposium is limited to 50 persons and 40 presentations.
