Issues Direct has been established to promote direct equity investment by individuals in new issues coming to the market. We have three main aims:
to enable private investors to participate in, and enjoy the benefits from, new issues often available only to institutions because of the costs involved;
to improve liquidity in companies shares, by widening the shareholder base and increasing the number of bargains traded but in a form which is economic to companies;
