Description
The Israel-Jordan Chamber of Commerce is an independent non-profit organization, whose purpose is to advance cooperation between the business communities of Israel and Jordan. The chamber helps Israeli companies and businesspeople who seek to participate in the development and advancement of trade relations and economic cooperation between the two countries. Today, we number 140 members, hailing from a variety of sectors, whose activities are together responsible for the greater part of trade between Israel and Jordan.
Since its establishment in 1996, the Israel-Jordan Chamber of Commerce has acquired substantial experience and considerable economic knowledge. The chamber has created a wide network of contacts in private and government sectors in both countries. We act to facilitate and aid business and commercial activity in a complex and troubled political and social reality. Our activities have brought us a unique standing in the Middle Eastern economic arena.
The holding of regular conferences, meetings and study days - most importantly, the annual business conference at the Jordan River border crossing.
